Volunteer and Lead with Prepare
Most of Prepare's volunteer opportunities are virtual. This means you can volunteer from anywhere you like as long as you have internet connection. Since we are a recently established organization, there are many leadership opportunities still available. Content Developer

CONTENT DEVELOPERS will be tasked with creating lesson plans for PREPARE. Each lesson plan typically consists of objectives, an introductory activity, a PPT or other form of presentation, a review activity and an assessment. Depending on the lesson, students will get 1 or 2 volunteer hours per lesson.
Translator (Telugu)

TRANSLATORS will translate news articles, emails, students work samples, letters and other media written in Telugu to English or vice versa. Volunteers must be able to read written Telugu and have good English skills.
Event Coordinator

EVENT COORDINATORS will organize fundraisers and publicity events. They may also be tasked with creating flyers and brochures for such events. Attending these events is not mandatory but coordinators are responsible for finding volunteers who will attend. Hours are awarded for the hours spent planning these events as well as hours spent hosting these events.
Social Media Manager

THE SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER will post regularly on Instagram and Facebook. They will have to sift through several posts from each schools personal FB pages and repost the most notable ones with descriptive captions. They will also have to keep tabs on how many views/likes/comments our page is getting and take the initiative to increase interaction with our pages.
